Beatlemania will return to Kings Heath for Beatles Fest 2015.
The Beatles played their first ever gig in Birmingham at Kings Heath Ritz Ballroom on February 15, 1963.

52 years later, again on February 15, their appearance will be celebrated with two events.
Local musicians will first play their favourite Beatles songs at an acoustic session at Fletchers Bar, York Road from 3-6pm.
From there, doors at the Hare & Hounds will open at 7pm for a performance from Midlands tribute band The Born Again Beatles.
The band have toured the UK and last year played a show at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, where the Fab Four started out.
A past review of the band reads: “A fine evening of quality music played by quality musicians and well worth seeing.
“The high energy show started with Magical Mystery Tour and I Want To Hold Your Hand.
“The musicianship was of a uniformly high standard with accurate rendition of musical parts while the vocal harmonies were as good as any Beatles tribute band.”
