The mystery of the Beatles mural on Pasture Street, Grimsby has been solved.
Workmen are renovating the former Barry Stemp upholstery business.
One of them had a rush of artistic talent and drew the Fab Four after the wet cement dried.
The premises is about to be turned into a professional recording studio.
Leon Spencer told the Grimsby Telegraph: “It was not meant to be taken seriously as it was just done in the wet cement while we were working on the building, although the artist does not want to be named.

“The building is currently being renovated and we are opening a new pro recording studio and practice room.”
The shop front is undergoing renovation with new signs being put up, so the graffiti art will be covered up.
