“Come Together”- A Beatles Tribute is a documentary filmed primarily in Liverpool, during International Beatleweek, that features performances by Beatles tribute bands keeping the legacy of The Fab Four alive.
This documentary will be released on DVD February 3rd. Titled Come Together, the 52-minute film is narrated by John Lennon’s sister, Julia Baird. It celebates The Beatles’ legacy through the passion of the dozens of Beatle tribute bands that gather every summer in Liverpool. There’s rare footage, performances by the “wanna-Beatles,” interviews and personal stories by bands and fans alike. The filmmakers were given unprecedented permission to use more than 65 Beatles songs in the film.
